Percy Priest Lake Fishing Report 8-17-09

Weekly Fishing Reports for Percy Priest Lake
Fishing on Percy priest this past week has been a little spooty at best for all species. Great numbers, but not a lot of size for all species. This is mostly due to change in weather lately.

Bass Fishing has been average this past week. Best baits recently have been the plastic worm & spinnerbait. Best depth have been anywhere from one foot on out to 20 foot of water.

Crappie Fishing has been sluggish recently. Best method being used are trolling type baits fishing around 1-12 foot of water.

Rockfish / Hybrid fishing has been above normal with a lot of numbers & big fish being caught only at night. On the cloudy days, we have caught these fish during the early AM hours.

Yellow Bellies have produced well lately. If you find the crappie, the yellow bellies are usually close by. Best bait to use has been spoons fished in 15-25 foot of water.
