Ruff time for fishing on Percy Priest Lake

 To say the least, Percy Priest Lake has not been very exciting the past 3-4 days. With temps hanging around the 0 degree mark, the water in the river actually froze all the way across yesterday. Here is a picture we took two days ago. I think by tomorrow, everything should be completely thawed out with mild temps during the day and not getting below the freezing mark till next week.

The best fishing days listed by the Farmers Almanac are next week. Try to wet a line next week and you will have the highest success rate of any other week this month.

Fishing Tennessee

 To cold to fish today with temps hoovering around the zero degree mark for today and tomorrow, but we did have a client out this weekend and managed to get a few bass. This one was a nice 4.5 pound largemouth bass. Weather will warm up a bit by the end of the week, so maybe this weekend fishing will be better.

TN Fishing on Percy Priest Lake

Another client out today on Percy Priest Lake. Fishing was again slow and cold but we manage to catch a few. Nice 14.5" crappie.
