Percy Priest Lake Fishing Report
Fishing on Percy Priest Lake this past week has been above average for this time of year. Weather has been some what stable making fish more predictable.
Bass fishing has been good with the most success coming off of Jig & Pig combinations. Depending on the weather the fish are being taken any where from the shallows on out to 20 foot deep.
Crappie fishing has been fair to good. Minnows working best in 10-20 foot of water.
Stripe fishing has been great with the most success coming on jiggin methods in 15-30 foot of water. Yellow bellies of coarse are always the dominate one. If your catching Yellow Bellies, but after hybrid, move to another location.
Water Temp. - 42 degrees

Percy Priest Weekly Fishing Report: 1-11-09
Hello folks,
This week I have no new reports for you. I was busy working the boat show at the Nashville Convention Center with the Anderson Marine company. A great place if your looking for a new Skeeter, Ranger, Champion or G3 boat. I am a Skeeter man myself, but Anderson Marine does have some great deals on the Ranger 520 where they had bought out Music City Marine.
Spent some time with the TWRA guys also. If you do not know all your fishing & hunting regulations, you should have stop by and seen them. You can still give them a call or stop by their web site. http://www.state.tn.us/twra/

Percy Priest Weekly Fishing Report: 1-4-09
This past week has been some really good crappie fishing on Percy Priest Lake. A small warm front had come through and the weather had just stabilized enough to bring the crappie up for a few days. We were catching any where from 30-40 crappie per trip and about 90% of them were good ones. Several were 12" inchers and usually would get one around the 14" mark.
The catch was, you had to follow the fish. As the middle of the day approached, the crappie would be the shallowest. Your bait had to be in front of there nose too or you would not get bit. The average depth the fish were in was 4-10ft.
Temp: Hi - 58
Low - 42
Water Temp: 50

Fishing Report - 12-23-08
Success for 12-23-08
Talking about tough conditions, I fished today with John McAllister out of Alabama. Winds were 25-30mph and gusty. Boat control was a major issue and there was basically only one way to fish. You fished with rattle trap baits or you just got plenty of backlashes. Mr. McAllister managed to catch 4 bass today. Half day day trip today, but by the time I worked the trolling motor, it felt like 12hrs.
I will be off on the 24th & 25th to spend time with my kids and the 26th on a hunting guide trip. Back on the water the 27th. Good fishing!
High - 40 degrees
Water Temp - 48 degrees
